Nice team here. It's gonna be a run and gun type of offense. No true center's on the squad. How bout that PG from Boston, he would have been a better choice other that Kidd, unless he is not American. I guess they have to throw in an old timer in the mix as well. I don't agree w/ it though.

I still say they should take the NBA champion as a team to compete. You may not have the best player out there but they'll definitely have the best 'TEAM'. The team should be coached by their regular team coach and if a player on the team is not a US citizen then the coach can pick from any US player in the league. The coach should decide who he thinks would gel better with the team. If this was done I really think the US would still be demolishing all and any of the international teams. But of course this will never happen......

That just won't happen. That is a original idea but that is just too unfair to the NBA champion. Too many games and they will be worn out and won't have a chance the following year.

that is a great idea, but redbird is right. too many games would kill the team in the offseason and it'd make it harder for them to compete the following year.

yea a lot of individual talent but will they put their egos aside to try and win...it will be interesting to see kobe wade paul james and howard..i say kidd starts and then let paul take over no mas con que no empieze a chiar como cuando jugo con los spurs..
