How many would want to see 5A schools play another team from out of the valley first.
1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A always play team from out of valley why can't them.

How many would want to see 5A schools play another team from out of the valley first. 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A always play team from out of valley why can't them. we dont have a choice, there are about 24 5A schools in the valley, and 3 districts, I dont think there are more than 20 schools of the lower classifications. So unless you want to write to the UIL to make a 24 team 30-5A District the 5As will continue to play each other for the first two rounds. It does look like the next UIL realignment will have some major changes though |

I say, do away with the d1/d2 crap. Do old school where only the district champ makes the playoff.This way you have one true 5a/4a/3a state champ.But that's just me.......................................

I agree on doing away with the D1/D2 stuff but still have the usual 4 teams that make the playoffs. |

wouldn't doing away with the d1/d2 format make the post-season last 9 weeks or something like that? how about having both state champs play each other. or having a national tourney. at least make it so that all the state champs have to prove themselves. that would be awesome.

what does it matter lmka? you guys would face cal and lose and be right there getting ready for basketball like the rest of the teams. at least if there's more teams going you can dodge cal for awhile.

How many would want to see 5A schools play another team from out of the valley first. 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A always play team from out of valley why can't them. ask yourself this.....why is it that EVERY TEAM THAT HAS MOVED UP TO 5A cant get passed the northern schools?  before you answer do some research on wins over northern schools back in the day from schools that are now in 5a...just look at how many programs won when they were back in 3a and 4a and look at what those schools have done when moved up to 5A... right now im betting that any school weather it be PI or EE or whatever school it is from sub 5a that if they were to get the enrolllment that 5A schools have theyd be in the same situation as we are now... |

Because if Weslaco would have to win District they would only be going every 20 to 30 years. so your hope of see a game would be to go see La Maquina. |
