What I want to know is if HBK is going to pull a LordInfamous and disappear when he is proven wrong. Then come back again next year to make fantastic claims, then disappear altogether.

I haven't gone nowheres. I hate to bring up the past L_F but lets reflect to 06 when mesa was "God's gift to football", what team shut him down. he was the talk of the valley up to the PI game, wasn't he. oh and before you bring it up, i know your non- district schedule is tough this year but i know that no defense in state history has ever been better at shuting down big play backs like the seawall has and WILL. Derek Lerma, Andy Zamora, and Mark Gaonna in Mission will look good this coming season for Mission. These guys have speed (especially Zamora-3rd place 100m dash in district behind Trevino and Tovar) and Lerma has good scat back ability. If only they could all remain injury free this season.

I think that is the question on the minds of many people in the community. However, as a team and coaching staff, I'm sure they won't be holding their breath. The show must go on...

donna's guys, whatever their names are, will put up more yards than the mercy guys, but they'll be looking up at weslaco's backfield.

i have to agree with the tiger fans. Alex and israel is probably the best tandem for the up and coming season. They are very well capable of running for 1000 yards each. We're hoping they both tear it up & stay free from injury! Well, Didn't Alex alread tweak one of his hamstrings. I would imagine if he overdoes his strides....he may get a flat tire. They should find ways to get him the ball and use Israel more so than Alex.

i'd imagine they'd use alex as a receiver a little more this year. getting him into space where he can outrun those who are covering him might get the tigers a whole bunch of points this year.
