i have to go with Bolt, yeah micheal phelps won 8 gold medals in the olympics which is monumental, but Bolt literally in a league of his own....the guy jogs the last 30 meters and still shatters the old WR, that is simply amazing

speed
agility
flexability
quickness
endurance
strength
and intelligence for a given sport.
Therefore the best athlete is......................

I think Phelps edges Bolt because I am convinced he has another talent, the dude can fly with those ears of his.
