really dont know what the point is saw it when it first aired, just a schedule for this that would like to see it if they havent already. at least it was 1000 times better than that crap channel 5 called a preview I stopped watching channel 5 years ago. Channel 4 is king when it comes to Valley local sports. |

i doubt they will put it online...its too late now, the season is 3 days away..... there will be a valley preview on channel 5 today after news at 6.. Dave Brown dislikes MERCEDES......  Just because he picked Edcouch-Elsa to win the district DOES NOT mean he dislikes mercedes... he's just a realist! |

For news and weather go to Channel 5. For sports go to channel 4. I disagree on this one. Channel 4 out performs channel 5 in all areas. Channel 4 has the super Doppler radar technology, desktop Doppler plus for your PC, they were the only new station in the valley to stream live on line during the entire hurricane. They have anchors and reporters such as Ryan Wolf which does the streets of speed, and food 4 thought. They also have Marcy Martinez which does the pot hole patrol broadcast. Sports team lead by Clay Williams is unprecedented in the Valley. They have the best local coverage for all Valley sports. They have a High School sports preview show that is unmatched year in and year out. They have extended HS football scores and highlights on Friday nights after the games. And to top it off they send one of their sports anchors (Clay Williams) to California for the entire Dallas Cowboys training camp. They brought daily highlights and interviews from the Cowboy players which no other Valley news station did. Personally I hate the Cowboys. But I have to give props were it's due and man they have an awesome new team. |

Yea...I watch channel 4. I hate channel 5. I will change the channel to 5 when 4 is having a commercial but I always end up going back to 4. It also has to do with channel 4 does more reporting on cameron county and 5 does more on hidalgo. That has alot to do with it too. They just get the main stories from each others county and report on those.

i'm not a real big fan of food for though or the speed patrol thing......in houston there was a green bus on edgebrook right by 45 that sold mexican food. it was called "taco madre". it came out on the news so many times for not being clean or whatever.....you still saw people lined up at all hours of the day and night buying food there......it's the same for a lot of these restaurants that come out on the show.......they get caught, and people still go......

Yeah, Clay Williams is good, but I think the new guy (Haynes) sounds real professional. I remember seeing/hearing him not too long ago and reminicing that he sounded like an ESPN anchor reporting on sports.
