Mission Vets vs. Harlingen South.
Harlingen South will be going for their 100th victory officially in their history Friday. We should have 100 wins now but they forfeited a game in 2005 vs. Hanna due to an ineligible player. Even though we won 35-0. Anyways, I'm excited that football is finally here. I wish them luck throughout the season and I hope they put on a good showing.
I would say Hawks by 10.
Good Luck Hawks.

Vets wins this one by 7. Harlingen South got smoked by San Benito 7-0 in effect 42-49 to 0. That's gotta be bad. Vets will move the ball on these guys, too. Score 24-17 Patriots win.

Don't forget that we tied Donna 21-21 in our 2nd scrimmage. Anyways, a scrimmage is a scrimmage. It doesn't matter who wins. We got creamed by San Benito last year. I think we came out ok last year:) I'm not saying that the Hawks will go 10-0 this year. But I think they will be fine. South will win this one. I hope:)

Hawks have a good one two punch with the QB and RB....the QB is pretty dam shifty RB is good too...none of em are very big but you gotta catch em first they have some WR with good hands...Hawks got some good size on both lines even though none of them were returning...
I taking the hawks....in a close one...

I still believe south is in for a hard year. I hope not and I hope they prove me wrong by kicking a**. South by 1.

I agree with you. South will be in for a rough year, maybe not a 0-10 season but they will have to work a little extra harder to get those wins.
