The last game played by LJ/Mission. TD gets called back by the refs as Mission pulled out the victory in that last play of the game. Refs calling it back caused the crowd in Mission to get REALLY HOT UNDER THE COLLAR as the LJ fanatics go into a frenzy. I knew the walk back to the parking lots was gonna be ugly. And it was, saw fights everywhere and people swinging at each other with 2X4's and the sirens everywhere. The bad call was bad enough to end this rivalry, but the scene after the game was horrid. Was that the game where the LJ players stomped on the Mission logo on midfield taunting the Eagle players right as the game ended? Heard it nearly caused an all out brawl. Had to work that night so couldn't see the game.  |

Yo what year was it when Mission hanged up a dead coyote @ La Joya?? ya thats true........also my SR yr i heard Rio hung up some dead coyotes the day of the game |

I went to the Memorial playoff game in 94 at San Benito and got all 4 of my hubcaps jacked. I'm still trying to crack the case, lol. that is soooo wierd...i bought some hubcaps the day after that game for 30 bucks from this guy who said he found them...but im sure thats just a coincidences... ;D |

The EE/Mercedes rivalry sounds more intense that what I had previously thought.

I recall a matchup between Santa Rosa and Hidalgo for the basketball District Championship. Needless to say SR pulled out the W and a fight erupted on the court between the players. Then all hell broke loose and the fans from both schools ran into the court and started throwing punches.

When PI and MMA got into it during a game around 2000 or 2002. The fans ran into the field and gang up on the MMA players. Next few week this fans bragged that they had beat up on some MMA players.

I remember a few years back some kids from Mercedes went over to the EE High school and spray painted the bumble bee they have in the front.... EE came back a few days later and burned a EE on the fifty yard line..... difference was since we did it first nobody expected it but when EE did it they were waiting on them......lol ;D  |

Two that I can think of:
1) This past year at Los Fresnos when Weslaco or Los Fresnos made tickets for an extra two roles. I was so pissed I still got my seats though, but some guys almost got there A__ kicked!
2) This other experience that made me realize that kids now a days (teenage high school students) have no respect and they dont care what can happen to themselves nor the other people. Well, this kid shoved another kid onto my wife me and my little 8 month little boy. The kid more landed on me and my little boy. They did not apologize and laughed. Boy was I furious, so I expected an apology from the kid nothing so i stared down the little kid and the little boy got in my face, and asked "what the F**k was i looking at" my repsonse "you want to get your a** kicked?" ... lucky for him he had smart family members and they all grabbed him and told him that he was asking for a death wish.

Well one of the men got in her face and in the LOUDEST voice yelled "I'm going to get hot chocalate! Give me a break!" (It was cold that day, btw). Probably could have heard him from the other side of the stadium.

when ever san benito plays harlingen cause the card fans never behave...they are always starting something and blames sb..sheesh

when ever san benito plays harlingen cause the card fans never behave...they are always starting something and blames sb..sheesh  ......our jr high kids put it on the adults from SB. then our last game in SB in their house walking to our vehicles we got sum drunk SB fans throwing beer bottles at us...lol 1 brave soul came to the street while the rest of his buddies just watch him get dropped...yea ur right we dont know how to behave in our house or yours. |
