I'm planning a birthday party for my little girl who will be turning 4 and just want to know where everybody buys their cakes and who would you guys prefer. In the past i have got her cakes at Ybarras in Weslaco which i think are awesome but there is always a new place to try.......$$$ is no option

There's this lady who bakes cakes in Edinburg and they are really good. The problem is that you have to place an order well ahead of time because according to my wife she's pretty busy all the time. Apparently my wife says that this person is so well known(I would figure through the internet) that she even takes orders from all over the world. No joke.

I don't have it right know dude but when my wife get's back from shopping I'll post it. Bro' those cakes are delicious. When I threw a B-Day party for my little girl about 4 years ago everyone complimented us on the cake and wanted to know where we got it from. I was hoping some would be left over after the party but there was nothing left and you usually have some cake left over.

a few actually. a couple of weddings in harlingen, and a birthday party here in weslaco. both times the cakes were good.

i've tried the tres leches, and this vanilla strawberry one. i think the other one was a dutch chocolate one.
