cardinalfruit...that still doesnt explain why your d is so good...playing against a 3a doesnt prove anything but gomez wanting to play p.i. for an easy scrimmage knowing he would win..

Harlingens D is one of the best "I" have SEEN....personally i dont think that d line is all that great, they have Size Speed and Strength, and thats coming from the players also, but its was the blitzing linebackers that were messing up PIs backfield, they were also big and fast. They were hitting the holes that PIs o line made faster than our backs and blowing up plays in the back field, but IMO again, Harlingens D is the best Dfence I have SEEN
In other words yes Harlingens D as as good as they say they are I M O....

how did harlingen D hold PI? other than shutting them out, like how many rush yds and pass yds did they allow? or was it not recorded ummm...remember ,you played a 3a team where your school outnumbers thiers close to 4-1 so whooopeeee...yaaaaaaay...wow...you beat a small school...next time play against a all-blind school... um hound fan hunter is from EE he was the one asking not someone from harlingen, remember it was just a scrimmage to evaluate players...how's the hounds offense coming along?

With some key returners back the Cardinals defense should be good this year. If their offense has improved then the defense could be better than last year. The defense carried the Cards to the playoffs last year and were excellent all year. They stayed on the field all the time and played way too much. Im sure Redbird and ninjas remembers how much time our defense was on the field last year. With a better offense we could have an even better defense than last year. Defense wins games and the Cards are primed to have another good one this year.

Don't want to stir anything up, but what exactly makes people think that Harlingen's defense is awesome. Is it because they all their defense back from last year, or is it because they beat up on PI? Can someone elaborate Experience on the Dline and the LB core is quik and fast, hope EE gets that oline takin care of by the time sept 5th rolls around and that left side of their D taken care of if not its lights out for the jackets.....im sure the EE coaches can 'elaborate' on the cardinal D for you, quite a few in attendance last saturday. Like i said previously Mchi will be a true test they have an experienced Oline, bigger than most teams in the valley coming back vs hgn Dline which has the most experience on the D and Mingo Rincon who will anchor the Cards this year...Gluk against Cal and GP, c ya sept 5. Our offensive line did poorly against the blitz last year, The pocket would collapse within seconds leaving nino exposed. This pregames are turning out to be a very valubale tool for EE, because win or lose it will only prepare EE to play at a different level. Callalen will test our defensive unit and Harlingen will test our offensive unit.
