heard scrimmage is friday. dont know what time. JV and Freshmen at the Mini Stadium @ 6:00. Varsity play @ 7 either at Boggus or at the Mini Stadium. Ya Varsity should just scrimmage at the mini stadium cause it raining pretty good here. |

yea Harlingen is getting some down pours on and off all day....over in the mid valley EE area is still clear....

5-2...harlingen before i left. Overall Controlled: Harlingen 9 RGC 2 Harlingen 1st String 4 RGC 2 Harlingen 2nd String 5 RGC 0 Left the live with RGC 1 Harlingen 0 (Harlingen drove to the four and stalled, RGC then drove to the Harlingen twenty and I left) Harlingen O was VERY potent. Down side was the D, they got pushed around quite a bit. RGC's running back is very quick and strong he had two long runs for scores. Side Note: Harlingen only went three out twice during the controlled scrimmage, RGC went three and out at least six times. |

Live scrimmage ended in a tie 14-14. Harlingen moved the ball up and down the field with mix of pass and run. Rio had alot of short gains and then would bust a big run. In the controlled part Cards had 9 tds to Rio's 2. First team controlled went 4-2 Cardinals and 2nd team went 5-0 Cardinals. There were quite a few penalties and Harlingen had one starter injured who left game on stretcher. He came back 2 hours later with a cast on his leg. I dont know who he was.

they missed a short field goal but not sure about extra point
