I would have to agree with you BigChief87.
I think the only reason why they have 4 teams make the playoffs is because that evens out the playoff bracket to 64 teams per Division. Instead of 3 teams from each district and having a 64 and a 32 team playoff bracket.
I would agree with having a 6A and then chaning it to top 2 teams making the playoffs. But I think that would mess up the 4A and 3A playoff system.

Ya in some districts its gonna be ridiculous with half the district making the playoffs
Top 2 should go 1 to big school div and 1 to small school division
4 playoff teams is crazy!

haha south as a chance...mostly everyone in your district has to reload...south just has to do it more than others.....
Harlingen PSJA and PSJA North i have locked in....
then you have the 3 edinburg schools, PSJA Memorial and Harlingen South....
right now im leaning towards PSJA Memorial for that finals spot....but they all have a chance....

I think South is going to struggle this year. They have lost most of their players and coaches. From what I hear, they are going to struggle to win a couple of games, if that many. It is not looking good over there in the land of the hawks for this year. Now, I hope I am wrong but it is really not looking like it.
