jrg said that weslaco beat mercedes and shary and that the tigers were playing shary, but that was about an hour ago, the game should be over by now.

Come on Mercedes! You all have talked all this smack that you all are the team to beat in 7 on 7 but yet you haven't won a tourney or qualified for State this year. You all haven't been able to beat Weslaco but yet we are undefeated (3-0) against them this year. E-E will be ready for you all if we end up meeting up against you all. But I do hope you all earn a spot for the State tourney so we both can see what we got against the States top teams.

......if not you they can always sub their varsity team for one of their jv teams at the league at east.

couple of corrections! Mercedes is currently 2-1 against Weslaco this summer and Weslaco lost to Sharyland at the Mission tourney. As for E-E, state tourney or not, Mercedes will get a shot at E-E at their own tourney to be held at their homefield on July 5. How sweet it is we get them at their own place right before they go to the state tourney can you imagine what that can do to their psyche if they lose............nice!!!!!!!!!!
