and this illustration is not nearly as graphic as the real deal. Note that one of the last pics shows an instrument actually going in and killing the "fetus".

That was hard for me to see red but hopefully others can see it and change their minds. Like I said at the start I have never liked 'em and never will. Had my wife had an abortion like she had asked me when we were dating I wouldn't have my precious and beautiful 10 year old daughter around.

When someone say's that it's a woman's right or choice, it's a choice for what? To kill an innocent unborn.

I have no idea how someone can watch even a severly toned down video of such a proceedure and still feel it's ok to dispose of a child as if it doesnt matter. They forget they would not be here if their mother had chosen to abort them.

lol im just going to say ok then... ive raised extremely valid points and i refuse to repeat myself... no need to repeat youself. we've heard the same arguements over and over again, but just like you feel we don't listen to your reasoning we too feel you ignore our reasoning. you don't agree w/ the conservative side and i don't agree w/ your side. no harm done since we can't do squat about it anyway.

Do you really think its wrong for a girl who gets raped then finds out shes pregnant to abort? i mean that does happen ..... more than you probably think...
again my main gripe is that you don't see anything else but your religious views..... look at the bigger picture man... you need to understand that there are always circumstances that people cant control... and thank Allah , god, Buddha, whoever>>>> that the technology exists, when unthinkable actions like rape occur, to reverse these wicked acts.... now, do you still disagree?
And what about my thoughts on how its not right for we men to impose our ideals on woman's rights ? do you disagree there as well.... strictly because you feel your right and will not budge..? i mean do you see where I'm going with this?
if not... Then i do feel sorry for you red fish... i am truly astonished, perplexed; and utterly confounded at your inability to see reason or let alone see past yourself...
don't worry i don't actually expect to get an answer to any of my questions...
i guess cuz in the end..i agree... abortion is wrong...but in some cases its necessary if not needed...and my whole problem is that you see it as a black and white issue...good and evil... and this is so obviously not one of those things .....right? lol

let me just ask one question.... Do you really think its wrong for a girl who gets raped then finds out shes pregnant to abort? i mean that does happen ..... more than you probably think... personally speaking, that's the area i too struggle with. While I tend to lean for her in that situation because she had no choice in the matter. I have no problem when it involves the life of the mother, but I do have problem when women have abortions at will just because they didn't want to protect themselves. Where's the responsibility on their part? Many men have even asked for the child to be born and they would take responsibility for him/her, but the women still aborts. It just saddens me to see a child put to death for irresponsibility. see I can bend to the middle in certain situations, can you? And by the way, majority of abortions take place for no other reason than "just because". if you want stats, I can provide them. A very small percentage are for the reasons you state that I too question.

NO!

And you sir don't seem to realilze that those arguements you pose are a small percentage of why abortions occur. where in my arguements have I mentioned God this and God that? You're surprised? I too am surprised at how you can allow not see how a "fetus" that has a beating heart and blood flowing through it is consider not alive. I don't think you're reading my posts very carefully. I have not mentioned religion as a bases for my defense. All I said is why do you want to keep it out of the discussion. The mention of God seem to threaten you. Why would i not answer your questions? I think I have. Just because I can't answer them as quickly as you would like, doesn't mean i can't or will not. The faithless left has for many years tried to kick out any religious views and points. is that your idea of the big picture?

when i found out i was gonna be a father this question came up....two reason....one nighter and health issues.....
i made it my business and I thank the Lord I did and knocked some sense into her...
i got what Guy has as one of his questions...health issues...because they used a drug on the mom to take the 2nd baby out that didnt make it...we got a percentage from the doctor that there were gonna be some health issues.....they wanted to do a procedure that could kill my baby so they could find out exactly what it was...but there were big risk... I basicly told the doc to go FFF himself and that healthy or not....that was my son he was gonna take risk with and me as a father id take care of him sick or not...
the abortion by her...the health issues.... ? came up again...
again..I made it my business and I thank God I did....
9 months later...i got my beautiful baby boy....healthy and even though me and the girl are not together....were both glad we made the right choice...
again...I thank God I did and was able to talk to her into just having faith in God...

Here's a quote from my mom about me. My parents were missionaries in Mexico and so my mom had to write monthly newsletters for the churches that supported them. Here are my mom's words: "We hear so much about abortion these days, and recently I was thinking more about this. When we had three children, ages 12, 9 and 8, I learned that I was pregnant again, and I definitely was not happy with the situation. We had just moved . [My husband] was not perturbed, in fact, he seemed to think it was pretty neat -- and I confess, I wept a few times over the prospect of a new baby coming. "This past Christmas, this uninvited child came home from college to visit us. Tall, handsome, intelligent, athletic, musical, witty and clever. He's had two and a half years in pre-med studies and is now in Bible college. He sings in several music groups, has trophies in sports and knows thousands of plant, animal and bird life by their scientific names. For exams he scarcely has to study -- remembers nearly everything he reads. And I, his mother, have been ashamed of those tears I shed when his coming was announced. Why, if I'd known WHO was coming, I'd have baked a cake! When I think of all the pros and cons the subject of abortion has brought up in recent years, what if I could have been brainwashed into thinking that an abortion may have solved what I thought was a problem? The very thought fills me with horror. God has blessed our lives so richly through our five children and we continue to be blessed by their faithful Christian lives and influence. Each one is a living testimony of God's power and greatness. We're so thankful for them."
For those of you on the fence, just think back at how good a life you have. What if . . . you had been aborted? Sobering thoughts from my mom.
