If you could pick 2 teams from any year to play against each other, who would you pick?
My dream matchup would be '90 Mission vs. '89 Harlingen. High scoring Eagles team that made it to state semis against stout Cardinals team that went 4 rounds deep. Would be a great game to see.

itd be interesting, Donna probably would not have seen the spread at that point
and LF would need to play a good game defensively or itd be over

That mission harlingen game would be a good one to watch. That Cardinal defense was tough and had a pretty good offense to go along with it. They took out a s.a team and a austin team b4 that loss to the university of judson.

itd be interesting, Donna probably would not have seen the spread at that point and LF would need to play a good game defensively or itd be over we saw and whooped the spread that year vs Mchi...i believe they had Sky Cook as the QB who got some offers to college...it was a big game but Donna went in there and took care of business.... Another cool one that could have actually happened was Mission and Weslaco during the '91 season(Koy's senior year). Both teams finished the season undefeated while dominating opponents and were in the same division during the playoffs. Then Mission lost to CC Miller and Weslaco to SA Madison the following week ending any hopes of that dream match. Would have been a helluva game though.

it would definitely be a track meet that 90 mission vs 07 weslaco.....if it could happen it would set all sort of scoring records i think

The best teams EVER (in terms of offensive/def production)
1. Mission 1990
2. EE 1997
3. PI 1985 (this team could play with ANY 5A team to DATE!)
If I had to pick the 'BEST' Los Fresnos team it would have to be the 2006, then the 2002, then the 2007.
So, I would like to see the EE 1997 team vs the Los Fresnos 2006.
Did the Mission 1990 team lose any games that year?

idk about all that patriot....... Did you ever see that '90 Mission team play? Had to see them yourself to appreciate how incredible they were. Plus, they had a pretty good defense to go with that explosive offense. |
