houndfan....all I have to say is one thing to you and I am done. Harlingen OWNS sb. ALWAYS HAS AND ALWAYS WILL. The thing is that it kills you to admit it. You guys may win a game here or there or even tie. Bottom line is that WE OWN YOU GUYS! That is why you are always in harlingen threads. Trying to prove that you guys aren't that same crappy team that you always end up going back to. A few years of winning but then you just end up going back to that SAME MEDIOCRE TEAM you guys really are. It's funny that you think you even measure up to a Harlingen, PI or EE teams. It is just downright funny. Right on! Except when they beat us their still a medicore team and lose in Bi-District. |

Someone sounds like he has a bit of a problem with our head coach. Every post you seem to take a shot at Coach Gomez. Hmmm....I wonder why??  A greyhound fan can never just come in the forum and have a civil discussion about their team or others. It is either insults or accusations and just trying to start trouble. That is why you guys aren't taken seriously in these places. You guys are a joke. There is only one hound fan I have ever respected because he ALWAYS brought common sense and great posts to a thread. That was glutes. Every other one of you guys is just laughable. By the way, I am glad you are reading my posts. It seems you learned a new word...MEDIOCRE. Keep paying attention. They know they are going to suck big time this year so once again, their whole season is riding on how they do against us. That is why mailma'am is already stirring up trouble. He knows they don't have a chance at district and the only reason they MIGHT make the playoffs is because of the brownsville schools. The Battle of the Arroyo is their superbowl. It is just a preseason game AGAINST A MEDIOCRE hounds team for the cardinals. We have bigger things to worry about than them. |

Is your offense ready? Hows the defense coming along? You have a new OC, is the offense going to change or is it the same? |

The hawks are going to be horrible this year. I hate to see it because I am a fan of all Harlingen football but from what I hear...it is just completely a mess over there. Sad to see. I hope I am wrong and they pull a rabbit out of their hats but at the moment, it doesn't seem like it's going to happen.

yea as much as it pains me to say it, the hawks are gonna blow this year. They wouldve had a fighting chance if they had kept the same coaching staff but to have only 3 coaches on the staff who have experience with the kids on this years team is pretty bad.

I will admit that I'm really worried about the upcoming season. Probably the first time, where we have more than one new assistant coach and alot of players with no experience on the pitch. I just hppe they can put together a playoff team at least. Thats all I'm asking for this year.
I think Coach Cherry will have them ready. Come on, We are Harlingen. We will be fine.

The Hawks worst record in their history is 4-6, does anyone think they will do worst than that. I think they can do a 5-5 or better.
