What will be the toughest games for the Cards this season and what the heck happened against Los Fresnos last year. You all should have taken that game! You would have been stronger deeper in the playoffs

Well, since this is a Harlingen thread and I dont want the peeps from EE crying anymore, I guess I'll post some thoughts about Harlingen. From the intersquad game I see another ferious D equiped with speed and strength. The offense had its fits in the passing game, but I dont see it as a real problem. The running game looked great, Pablo Garza has great speed and took a 40 plus run to the house beating the defenders to the outside and making a nice cut to the inside to seal the TD. One problem that needs to be fixed ASAP is the play of the center's, snaps were going over the QB's head or hitting the ground. On the JV side things looked great, other than the same problem the center had on varsity, the JV will do well.

I think Harlingen will have one of the 3 best teams in the RGV. This is the SR year for that group of Sophomores from two years ago that got boatloads of PT. I'm gonna go watch the Harlingen vs. McHigh game in week 1 instead of traveling to CC for the EE vs. Calallen game which I also really wanted to check out. Harlingen vs. Mchigh is gonna be really interesting.
