Roma has a stud passing QB. He riddled you guys for over 300 yds last year. Chavez in Mercedes will throw a lot, too this year. EE is gonna pass lots more with Nino in his SR season. Look at how good they did in the 7 on 7. You guys throw the ball like crazy. And Mission should do more this year with all their speed at WR. East has a new QB that is gonna be a great passer, too. Lincoln-Juarez is rumored to have gotten RJ Alaniz out of RIO and he is a very good passing QB. The only one team is Valley View. Don't know what they will do. If our front 7 can pressure a bit, he may get his int's. We'll see very soon.

And I talked to Sting about those dudes being out, just don't recall the reason. I think one of them was sick or and the other in trouble. Correct me if I'm wrong. But dang, that is one small OL in terms of weight. I remember Nikki Rowe had an OL like that with Ronnie Flores and it worked really well. Technique and quickness is really important and that is what I've noticed about the FB OL. Quick to their blocks and held the other guy a good 2 or 3 seconds. Their height also makes it difficult to get away cuz they will give you one last push. Our our 270 guy is gonna be good. He runs a good 5.0 in the 40 and is really strong. He threw the shot put pretty well and has advanced to state in that event the last two seasons. To add to that he has good lateral movement. The 290 big guy has been a starter for 2 seasons and comes in as a SR. I know he's really strong, but maybe not as mobile. Well Sting, are you going to the PLC scrimmage? Oh and yeah, Booger is everywhere adding life to this forum. It's all good. OK, LOL, I can't treat you that way EP, you're just too nice a guy. Truth is I included all the youngsters in the OL weight average. The varsity is more like 235 with the starters around 240. The rest is the whole truth without lies of exclusion. ;D Yeah missing those guys really hurt just glad it all worked out for their families to stay put in FB for this season. The RB if I remember correctly had a respritory thing and just could not go and it took him a while to get over it.

roma runs the same route over and over and if your defense can adjust to it then roma's offense will have to go to there running game, same with weslaco east they ran the same play over again...as for edcouch it would take more than 7 on 7 to change solis's playbook, he will probably end up throwing as much as he did last year which like 15- 20 times in a game. mercedes can throw some and i dont know about juarez lincoln it all depends on the coaches offense.

Those are the same guys who were supposedly gonna transfer to CC schools? Man, but I tell you, EAST had a rushing attack from hell last season. Their OL was very strong and Alvarado is a workhorse. He's pre season All State according to Dave Campbell. 245 sounds about right to me. Sting mentioned DL would need gas masks cuz these boyz would be eatin' it up before the game and would aromatize their way through the front seven!! LOL!!!

Well if their OL guys won the state weightlifting championship is any indicator, they should be strong again in the OL. What I've learned is that they have a very good sophomore who can throw the rock really well. Pride, you saw Mission in the 7 on 7 numerous times? What can you tell me about their WR, in particular JP, Mike, and Andy?

It's cuz the one 7 on 7 that I went to JP and Andy were not playing either. So I don't know how good they're gonna be. JP is the on that I hear is really fast, but don't know how that would translate for him as a WR on Friday nights.

Hey Booger since you are all over the place, give me some scoop on the FB team. YOu told me they were gonna run and run, but I think you can give me more details than that now can't you? straight up, be prepared for EVERYTHING!!! If Corpus had Riverboats, Andrus would be a Commodore! I don't know what the 08 Hornets bring to the table besides a great running back an experienced QB and athletes on both sides of the field. They play aggressive defense, blitzing quite often and playing man. Depending on who is at qb will let you know what to expect..Collier kid is more of a passer, doesn't really motor as well as the young kid coming up from jv. Like I said, FB will leave it on the field, they'll bring all kinds of trickery and insolent, minion-like fans who I will vanquish come week 7 ;D

well economedies blitzed like crazy as a result our qb had one of his best passing games of the season, in my opinion it also taught him to be cool under pressure
