And I like that Mission Vets and Mission aren't really getting any respect from the rest of the district peeps. Well in particular the Mid Valley Schools, and rightfully so. They were the ones that represented the district in the playoffs quite admirably. But I feel both Mission schools will be in the playoffs.

missions qb is quick and has a good arm...but that arm is useless without an o-line. how does missions o-line look this year

I know the OL is gonna be pretty big again. Alvarez 6'2" 270 and Resendez 6'3" 290 return along with Ayala. Don't know who will be center. How do the Pats look on the OL? Pretty huge as well, huh?

torres 6'2 and the rest are 6'0. one or two of them are a little young i think but after one or two games they'll be good...but our defense is going to surprise some people this year

Last year your defense was pretty quick, but made too many mental mistake in the games I saw. Alvarado, Gilpin, Tovar(I think is his name), and RB Hernandez are gonna be another good offensive team. But replacing Eddie T. is gonna be a tough task and must be done by committee and not by any one individual. Alvarado has a gun for an arm and I feel you guys can go into South and Alice and really shock the heck outta them. Good luck. Do you play on the team?

And is Gilbert OK to run the ball hard again? You forgot to mention the other DB/S Alabama J Gonz. I hear he's gonna be a contributor, too.

yeah bama is strong but i didnt mention him cause he wasnt here yet... he is gonna be solid this year i just wish they would put him at outside linebacker so he doesnt have to come off the field. he's a head hunter in practice...well gilpin runs a 4.65, joe tovar 4.7,eddie mendiola 4.7,and raul becerille is 4.68 or 4.7...so mission vets has some speed too ha

yeah it could be top defenses in the valley we just have to hope our offense can compliment it. ya know Your offense will be very good as long as Alvarado doesn't get hurt. And hopefully your D will not break down like it would last season in the 2nd half. You all lost way too many games in the 2nd half and that is what doomed your season. The D needs to step it up.

i should know first hand i was on the team..it just kills you knowing that your offense puts up about 30 points a game just to lose at the end

It will be pretty different, more balanced O, less reliant on a single individual. Much more unpredictable. Better D line, extremely stout powerful deliverers of punishment. Very good DB's, blazing fast and they will bring the wood. CLB of 2 years back, Mark Soto is shoes hard to fill but I know these boys at LB and they are serious fearless competitors.

A fullback or OL will overmatch him with his lack of weight size IMO. Safety is where he should really be IMO.

I know the Bluff will bring a very tough D and probably a more pro style offense with that drop back passer you all have. You may wanna hope he has some good escapability cuz I feel we will bring some pretty good pressure up the middle and with the LBs, too. You say he is gonna stand and deliver the pass and if he can do that, then we will probably not be able to stop you guys at all, especially with all CC Bend RB you guys bring.
