No way is 95% of the time passing in the spread....more around the 70/30 part but 95??? no sir...

i'm sorry but since when do qb's only throw the ball? if peyton manning or tom brady couldn't fake as well as they can, they wouldn't be at the level they're at.....arm strength and accuracy is a big part of the game, but sometimes you gotta throw some fakes to get the guys off of you. in many passing schemes, ESPECIALLY the spread, the play fake comes into play a lot. Yea Im sure Brady and Manning are there because they are the best play fakers alive  LOL! C'mon how hard is it to throw in a play-action...LOL! |

this carries on into junior high and high school. by the time a qb gets to college the defense has gotten a heavy dose of the play action so his fake has to be that much better.

my 11 year old QB has a killer fake........ i have a video of this kid from donna..garza, who was a freshman in 04.....that kid had a good motion and a great fake...... |

and lobo.........peyton and brady don't move all that well compared to the rest of the qb's in the league, so they do rely HEAVILY on their fake.

just watch every time peyton manning passes from under center. there's almost always a fake.

ok lobo, get out of the non-sense mode for a second. the qb has to make the defender who is looking right at him believe he doesn't have the ball anymore. the running back is always gonna look the same to the defender because of the way the defender is seeing him. 1 example i can give you is the veer. the qb faking the DL is the most important thing. the running back is always gonna look the same but the qb is the one who has to be convincing.
