Confidence is a critical ingredient in a winning football team. Mercedes now has confidence that they can not only hang with Calallen, but that they can actually beat them should they meet again. This is the reason I tell our coaches that we should not only beat our opponents, we should destroy them. Calallen's following year team may not be as good as the one before, but if you obliterated a team the year before, most times thier confidence is not there the next year. Oh, they may have some hope on the exterior, but once they get down, ALL the doubts come out. That is a prime reason Calallen has, on many occasions, beat teams that were better than them. Hey red, i wonder if we can tailgate at the dome?  ?? Nope....atleast that's what the website says. I checked into it a couple of months ago. I was planning on taking the motorhome, pull the BBQ pit, and have a big ol' Tailtgate party for the Mercy peeps.  Unless someone knows something I don't, tailgating not allowed....bummer dude.  |

I was going to takeoff after the E-E game to SA to see Mecedes VS Port Lavaca. But the Clutch on my wifes SUV just got messed up. Parts and labor will come out to about $700 and I won't it get back until Monday. So good luck Mercedes.

I will agree that the Tigers payed one hell of a game against us last year,,,,,I will also agree that they were more physical and won the battle of the bruises. However that was a very different Calallen team,,,,,dont look for anything like that this year. Last years game with yall,,,,,you won everywhere but the scoreboard. You will be decided underdogs against PLC,,,but if you play with the same determination aginst them as you did us,,,,,YOU WILL BEAT THEM, because they cant beat anybody good. GL and hope ya'll win,,,looking forward to a date with ya'll in the playoffs.
