Any magazine company knows that you should reward your subscribers first. You might make more bucks on the news stand, but you have to pay dues to your base customers (subscribers). They should have either shipped the magazine a couple days early or put a delay when it hit the newsstands.
That is why I feel jipped. Because, I paid in advance for something that is technically OLD NEWS now...

I got quoted on there 2 X. They quoted me on my sarcastic comment about La Villa needing another high school because of the growth. I put a smiley on there to indicate I was kidding and they still quoted it. LMAO!!

And IIRC, the subscription of $10.00 for 4 mags is more expensive than the newstand price of $2.16 cents? Oh, but it saves you the hassle of going to one of the MILLION stripes in the valley to pick it up...  |

LOL...I just thought of something....wasn't it Wade Baker that based a newsper report on the "Breaking News from the Reservation" thread that RPM created. Isn't he spearheading the RGV sports mag? He must really enjoy taking and using member info. When we laughed about him on the old RGVsports, I got a message from the Webmaster that he was very upset and was part of freedom newspapers and we shouldn't make fum of him, and he could sue...blah blah blah...LMAO!!! How come they didn't quote me stating where the REAL Sports site in the valley is? ;D |

RGV Sports mag? More like RGV Advertisement Mag! There is SOOO much more going on out there than they printed. I guess it wasn't posted on these forums though so they didn't write any articles about it. But hey, if I want Lasik or a dollar off at Taco Cabana... I know where to go.
And I'm steamed. These punks need to start paying me. First they steal my Super hero theme when they wrote about the LF vs LJ game and now they have "The Football Factory" on their cover.... Hmmmmm sure I've heard something like that someplace.

My hubby went out and paid the $2 bucks for it and I was like "why did you buy it? I have a subcription" and he was like "...well you didn't tell me" and I was like "... oh I didn't tell you ... sorry". I have yet to check the mail for it, so I probably have an extra copy of the mag., any takers, only $1? 50% off the cover price. lol
