I don't know about you, Boog, but I'm starting to feel kinda guilty about what's going to happen to EE fans. Burning up $3.50-a-gallon gas and a few hours of driving to get here, then paying for a ticket, then watching thier team get abused on the field, then burning $3.50-a-gallon for a few more hours on the silent ride home and not getting home til after midnight. All the while most Calallen fans will head for the stadium about 15 minutes before game time, enjoy a couple of hours of yet another Cats' win, then be celebrating that win at our place of choice by 10:15. It just don't seem fair I tell ya. I'm feelin a little guilty about it but I'm sure I can overcome.

stinger am i dumb? lmao if he only knew! The only problem is that it's the first game. There is lot of mojo riding on this game. The emotions are going be astronomical for so early in the season. These factors contribute to uncertainty. For EE to beat Calallen they will need two things. First, the hype of this Cal team being the equal of any Wildcat team of the last 20 years will have to be just hype and untrue. If it's true, if this Cal team is going to be that good, Katy bar the door because they are going very far and woe be to any who stand in their way. But that remains to be seen. The other thing that has to be true for EE to win is that even if this ends up being an average Cal team, EE will have to access "the zone" as a team, playing at their highest possible level, make zero mistakes and sustain it for 48 minutes. If these things happen, the old adage of anyone can win on any given day will be true. But this is a very tall order and highly unlikely. |
