He graduated from Lopez in 2007. Played baseball there and helped get 3 DC in a row. Really lifted up the baseball program once again and was the MVP for 2 seasons. He played baseball in Mexico(I think venezuela) and was watched by scouts from the D'Backs. Signed at his home with the scouts and played in a Development League last winter. Now he got moved up to the Rookie League and is doing a great job as his frst year pro. Hope that helps Buzzy

Osprey news"The bullpen for the Osprey was also one of the good stories on the night. Pedro Rodriguez and Brandon Burke combined to allow just one run on five hits in 4.2 innings of work."

GREAT FALLS, MT - The Missoula Osprey hadn't won in Great Falls in over a year, and it didn't look good for them to pull off the feat on this Friday night at Centene Stadium.
However, down to their last strike, the Osprey assumed their role in the Pioneer League's North Division - as spoiler.
Bobby Stone doubled on an 0-2 pitch to bring home the tying run with two out in the top of the ninth inning, and Reynaldo Navarro's two-run triple in the top of the 10th gave the Osprey a come-from-behind 4-3 win over the Voyagers before 4,368 fans.
The bats were relatively quiet for Missoula (6-17, 15-46) for much of the game, as Voyagers starter Daniel Hudson allowed just a run on three hits in six innings of work. Daniel Albritton didn't allow a hit in his first two innings of work, but the Osprey would get to the right-hander in the ninth.
The Osprey managed to get two of their hits off of Hudson in the second, on a solo home run by Nelson Gomez, and a bunt single by Jake Elmore.
Great Falls (12-12, 31-31) scored twice off of Osprey starter Brett Reynolds in the fourth to take a 2-1 lead. Reynolds pitched six innings, allowing five hits and four walks, two earned runs and struck out a pair of batters.
The Missoula bullpen also stepped up to the slab and pitched well. Kevin Eichhorn, who was making his pro debut; Brandon Burke, Jesse Orosco and Pedro Rodriguez combined for four shutout innings, allowing four hits and three walks while striking out four batters.
The Osprey 9th started taking shape with one out, when Kyle Greene singled to center field. Pinch-runner Rafael Hilario stole second as Gomez struck out, which set the table for Stone. The left-handed hitting left fielder fouled off the first two pitches, then hit an Albritton fastball to the left-center field gap, scoring Hilario easily and tying the game at 2-2.
Orosco (2-0) withstood allowing the first two batters to reach base in the ninth, including the key defensive play of the game for the Osprey. On the first pitch to Nick Damas, pinch-runner Lyndon Estill broke for home after the offering kicked away from catcher Rossmel Perez. Perez got to the wild pitch, threw it to Orosco, who blocked the plate and took a couple of spikes to the pant leg while applying the tag and getting the second out of the inning. After Damas walked, Orosco induced Kent Gerst into a foul-out to left, and the Osprey headed to the 10th.
Perez then led off the 10th with a single off of Voyagers' reliever Daniel Moreales (2-4). Tyrell Worthington then laid down a bunt, which crawled up the first-base line. Morales stumbled while grabbing the ball, and everyone was safe.
After Alberto Diaz popped out on a bunt attempt, Navarro took an 0-2 pitch and hit the ball over Gerst's head to deep center field, scoring Perez and Worthington for the go-ahead runs.
Pedro Rodriguez then pitched the home half of the 10th, and while he allowed two hits, struck out a pair of batters, including Estill to end the game.
The Osprey and Voyagers will wrap up their two-game series on Saturday at 7 p.m. Trevor Harden (0-2, 2.39) will get the start for the Osprey, while the Voyagers will counter with right-hander Dexter Carter (4-1, 2.84).
