The same thing happened to me and a couple of friends but we were on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere...I cant remember much because I was about 8 or 9 but I do remember seeing the lights of a truck behin us and then all of a sudden they were gone.

One time I went to friend's house(about 3 or 4 years ago)and I remember in his backyard there was a slightly vined fence;& beyond that was acres of corn fields.
Anyways,we went to the backyard to sit & chill ;& remember I was on my phone when next thing you notice he bugs real hard & points of the direction of where the fence & the field was @.
Well,I did not see anything until I saw a movement from a white figure that was @least nearly 5 feat high.It seemed that it was walking for a short distance to the left & then it flew to a direction of a really dark tree.
I believe it's those mythical "lechuzas".What is ironic is that when it flew;it did not reflect the size of when it was walking/standing up.
For it to be near us behind the vined fence seemed like it was watching us or something.IMO,Got a slight chill that night & no I was not under the influence of anything.

in weslaco, right by the sunrise restaurant, there's a park called "la plazita" park. that park used to be the hub of the drug distribution in weslaco. actually, drugs, prostitution, pretty much anything you could think of happened there. after a bunch of killings there over the course of a few years, the cops finally cracked down and cleaned up the park. some people who live there say that you can see people walking around the park late at night. if you call out to them or walk towards them they disappear right in front of you.
there's a basketball court there at the park. one night my cousin and i were playing basketball with a couple of friends. someone took a long shot and the ball bounced off the rim and into the darkness of the park. as we went to go get it we saw a guy and a girl walking across the place where the swingset is out in the open. i kept my eye on them as my cousin picked up the ball, all of a sudden they disappeared. we decided to leave right after that.......

Oh, just remembered one...
My friend was asleep on the sofa in living room at my apartment long ago. He woke up in the middle of the night saying he saw in light the shape of a KKK man -- a hooded figure. I went over to the living room and told him that light is from the smoke detector, but he swore it moved. I told him to shut up and get over it -- going to wake the neighbors...
Some time after that, maybe a couple months, I woke up to see a lit figure, kind of a brown-green dim light, float toward me from down the hall then turn to the left (didn't get too close) and disappear into the shadows. I remember I tried to yell and just a little breath sound came out -- I couldn't scream -- that's what really scared me more...

i was reading some stories on a site that was posted on the old forum and it said that this dorm where i stayed at texas state is haunted.....i know first hand it's true......weird stuff happens there at night......

I ask the time because most hauntings or paranormal events usually occur at 2:00 or 3:00 O' Clock in the morning. Don't ask me why, It's just somthing I read in one of my many paranormal books.
