Don't overlook Harlingen. Don't be surprised if the Cards are the last ones standing. ;D

So . . . again . . . last year RH would suck because the schedule was cupcake. This year they will suck because it is too hard.
Well, at least I correctly predicted the way you people would react.

Well, at least I correctly predicted the way you people would react. i disagreed though...his reaction is not something the whole of the port isabel fan base agree with..and as such cannot be lumped together .... so by saying "you people" you are actually still....wrong anywho... i completely AGREE with scheduling stiff competition before district...it really helps. i just think its a little arrogant to think you can actually beat a team like cuero...no offense, RH is a good team...but no where near good enough to beat cuero... nothing wrong with coming to terms with reality...ive been sayin this ever since i can remember posting on this forum...aswell as the last shoot...RH couldnt even beat palacios...a team that was destroyed by cuero the very next week...

Ok RH fan, sure, Just hope your team stays healthy and only 3 teams can go to the playoffs ,so the others dont matter, and after the game no matter the outcome, im gonna be having a brew some where either to celebrate or just to so it will maybe be the saturday after the game when you see me on here ,either talking trash or giving excuses finally we can agree on something....I too will be having a cold one...although lately i've been leaning towards tequila rum and vodka!

Schedule was too weak, now too difficult... need to find some middle ground.

I do not think we will beat Cuero. I do think we can keep it more or less a close game.
Sorry to lump you all together . . . but 99% of the time you guys agree with each other

Well at least most people agree that both PI and RH have scheduled stiff competition prior to district in order to be well prepared. Am I right?

The predistrict schedules look good this year in many Valley Programs. LF and EE will be strong. Harlingen will as well. Los Fresnos just keeps coming up with the depth as a young Valley 5A team. EE will have a strong team that looks good towards the next year as long as a good QB will fill in. EE will be testing the Calallen curse with as good a chance as any this year and next if destiny falls in their winning path.. Donna looks very good. Still curious about what Donna will bring as far as a playoff run. Weslaco right now is iffy. Hope thay prove me wrong. And with a coach like Tony they might. 3A is still in a foggy haze. Here is the dog fight. RH, PI, Lyford, Raymondsville, La Feria. Zapata and Progreso they are the teams that have to prove themselves worthy and you never know. RH and PI have similar situations early in the season. RH will be getting used to the new direction of coaching and PI the new look of chess game with the upcoming talent. Cuero and EE are tough opponents to probably the two strong 3A contenders in predistrict. This games win or lose will be very telling of this two teams. And will get them fine tuned to meet early in district match. I see Raymondsville, Lyford, and La Feria with surprising potential. EE I feel has a strong chance of a good playoff run. The rest I see as three. The 3A top contenders have to prove alot of adjusting and it won't be till mid district run or so as to showing sparks of where they might go in the playoffs. And PI will have to be playing their best to play up to EE or come up with a win. EE has the depth on the senior players and is where the fulcrum moves toward them. Nino will be too polished and talents like Tanguma and a few unmentionables will be tough to beat. However being a PI fan I feel PI can give them a game. Progreso might surprise here there is some talent there that needs proper placement and coaching. We will just have to wait. Looking like a great season up ahead. Que Siga la Fiesta de Valley Football!

Nice! good one RH fan, just try not to mix them all together..now that, for sure, would not turn out to be such a great outcome. ;D

and about the Weslaco LF thing both teams should reach 3rd round i mean they just gotta win two games against VALLEY TEAMS i dont see weslaco being anywhere on the top this year thou i see DONNA as the best 5a team These were first round games last year. LF vs Harlingen Donna vs Laredo Nixon La Joya vs Laredo United PSJA vs Brownsville Pace Eagle Pass vs McAllen Rowe Harlingen South vs San Benito Laredo United South vs McAllen Edinburg North vs Weslaco The year before, and the year before....and the year before....it's NOT automatic.......likely, yes, but not automatic. They don't face valley teams all the time in the first round or second round. Due to the growth in the valley, 5A teams have benefited, and the 5A district in the valley have fielded some good teams. Trust me, EVERYONE would like to play in the third round.....let's just be happy for our 5A teams and support them instead of sounding envious.

Since Valley 5-A teams play each other in the 1st 2 round the have an automatic ticket to the 3rd round. Might be one of them. Incorrect.
