I orginally went to put my exhaust @ that place in Donna, but the guy that gave me the quote had already left for the day (4pm) and the other guy had no clue. I decided to wait till he came back. I gassed up @ the Shell station on 83 (like I always do), and decided I wasn't too far from Mercedes, thought I'd try the place out.....

Hey buzz did you go to the muffler shop I told you about? The BEST MUFFLER SHOP was the name of the place. Yeah, it was on the corner of Georgia and Bus 83. It was a mom and pops type of business (literally). They quoted me a REAL GOOD PRICE! ($95). Which was about the same as the other place in Donna. And this guy had like 26 years of exp. That was all I needed to hear. Did the work in about an hour and a half. Time flew by quick b/c his wife was very nice and made for a good conversation. Thanks for the recommendation TFL..... |

so did you get an autographed copy of the magazine? Naw, I went to Mercedes to get the muffler work. Although, I should have stopped by while I was in the neighborhood. Because I couldnt' find the DC magazine @ wal-mart. Could have picked up a copy on the way home. Oh well... |

The other muffler shop was going to get the tips for me, so when I went to the BEST MUFFLER SHOP, I was just going for a quote. Needless to say, i'm currently tip-less. Probably go buy some and go back to their shop to install them.
