With the start of two a days just around the corner, let's talk about what we are looking for from our respective teams (i.e. offensive line, d line, linebackers, running backs etc.)
With the loss of Mishak Rivas, I think Weslaco will be looking at a stable of running backs from which to choose the replacement.
On the defensive side of the ball, we're looking for some production from the linebackers.
What yall looking for/at?

Lopez is looking for a defense as a whole. If they can at LEAST play decent defense they can win ball games no problem with the offense they have.

So the offense is set for the Lobos? How many did you lose on defensive side of the ball?

I would say we are looking for an offense. We need to find a capable running back which I hear we have and we need some receivers to step up. Defense will be the Cards strong suit again this year. I hope the new OC from LF can produce a potent offense this year.

In Donna its always been about the O-Line on offense....on defense im looking at the LB area and the D Line area....IMO those are the areas would should focus more on......

If I'm not mistaken we only lost 2 lineman last year. hmm...i counted nano, Saldana, Diaz, lost to graduation and Rosales who i might be wrong but i think he transferred to Edinburg. |

In Port Isabel its all about defense defense defense, i dont care how good you are when you play them boys up north you need to have a GREAT defense! PI has the o line and offense good to go, we just need another RIP coach V style defense, i am talking about discipline and toughness! Offense sells tickets but defense wins championships.
