Considering the climate in our area, what's with all the kids and not-so-kids wearing those heavy hooded jackets all year round. Is it a street cred thing?...a wanna be thing. I took my family to the movies the other day,,,it was about 3:30 in the afternoon,100 degress outside easily..IT'S SUMMER PEOPLE... TIME TO AIR OUT THOSE PITS... YOU'AL STINK.

its a style that came mainly from new york, you know, where its not so damn hot all the time. kids here see that in the music videos and wanna emulate, but its ridiculous down here unless its during the winter.

Reminds me of the great quote from Hank Hill to Dale. Dale was commenting on making the planet warmer. Hank's response? "Dang it Dale, it's 110 degrees in the shade already. If it gets one degree hotter I'm gonna kick your butt!"

Hey hunter,
It's not that hot all the time in New York. It's only a few weeks in the Summer. That's why they aren't used to the heat. You just see that stuff on TV. They are playing to their main audience.
You ever been there?

now if you go to L.A. and walk in their vintage shops all you see are hoodies selling for +$100. thats ridiculous as well, you'll have a stroke wearing a hoodie mid summer. in that part, its like you said hijo de Corb, skater/rock/hip hop companies they are selling to their main audience.

Everytime I see an emo, I want to kick him in the berries and take his money so that he can really have something to be "emo" about.

what gets to me is that they come in wearing the skinny jeans with the hoodie.......headphones on with the ipod cranked up on some emo song.....just stinking, you know a real stick icky smell, then they wonder why i don't give them a break, or why none of the administration gives them any respect.....
the school district is trying to prepare you for life in the real world, and in the real world people dress cleanly......skinny jeans with holes all over them and a hoodie just doesn't get the job done......

those tight jeans are great, the berries are more accessible for Buzzard to kick

On second thought, kicking somebody in the berries is not cool... it clearly violates MAN-LAW.
