1998 I was a Jr in Highschool.... I think I got mine in 1999... It was a qualcomm. I must have bought the next generation of cellphones, b/c I don't remember them being like that in 1998. |

Dang. My bro-in-law had a few of those lineman's phones. I know at least one of them got run over a time or two and it kept working. On the down side, the radiation could probably make some juevitos bien cocidos. Did I say that right?  |

i got my first phone after graduation......it was one of those nokia phones.....the one's with snake on them. after that i had a couple of lg phones, and now a moto q....i miss the nokia though. Even though that snake game is old it's still the $hit!!!! |

I wish I had never been exposed to cell phones, back in the day they were luxury items. Now they are more like necessities. I wish I didn't need them but my wife has a long drive to and from work and I wouldn't want her to not be able to call anyone for help.

I really don't like cell phones either... the only reason I got one back in the day when they were still expensive was b/c I was driving over 1000 miles to and from college and it was for emergency purposes. (lol, I think my first phone plan only included 1 hour of mins. -- but the first min of incoming calls were free)
Sometimes I just don't want to be found. So when I get down @ places i'll leave it in the vehicle and when i'm @ home, I'll leave it on my nightstand.

That's right wp2003 I forgot about that. I remember my girlfriend(current wife) beeping me just to check on me when I was out. If I was, how do you say busy, I didn't have to communicate back. Man those things were sweet. |

And then when it goes off in front of people you just gotta give that "I'm so annoyed and so important look" like when they used to say things like "Man, she's been blowing up my beeper all day!!" yeah right lol.

I got my first cell phone in October of 1996 through Sprint nad have been with them since. Can't recall the name of the phone
