i was hoping for rap around bleachers.....could you imagine the atmosphere that would create during a big game.....i get goosebumps just thinking about it... Dayum that would of been amazing (bleachers all the way around the stadium). What if they make a 2 floor instead of 5 floor pressbox and with that extra cash well and they'll need to add some more but add those bleachers all the way around the track. Yes or Yes ..

yeah i remember barbie field as having way too many holes.....same as san benito's old field. when i was a senior i sprained my ankle and my knee after i stepped in this big hole as we were coming out of a huddle.....
mvfb, that sounds like a great idea......who needs a merchandise store for? that's what walgreens, heb, and wal-mart are for.....anyway, i'm sure the bleachers will come later, unless they decide to tear the whole thing down and start again......

That would replace McAllen and LJ as the best stadium facilities in the RGV.

Yeah, Mchigh to me has the best bleachers cuz they're concrete and very steep, too. But LJ is a stadium you must visit. And go when the Coyotes have their season opener or a big playoff type game so you can get an impression of their entrance song "Con Todo El Surround Sound Y Todo." It's pretty good stuff.

The only problem is when they decide to not open the concession stands on the visitor side. When harlingen played them at their house...if we wanted anything from the concessions we had to walk all the way to the home side. Needless to say, I didn't buy anything. ;D

The only problem is when they decide to not open the concession stands on the visitor side. You're talking about LJ, right. I was there at that game with Harlingen and was so pissed off that I had to send my kid and his friends to the home side just to get a soda and some nachos. That was poor planning on the part of LJ in not providing a snack bar for the visitors in a huge playoff game that was well attended.

i was hoping for rap around bleachers.....could you imagine the atmosphere that would create during a big game.....i get goosebumps just thinking about it... the problem with wrap around bleachers is well pointless i doubt weslaco will fill up both sides cuz we both know visiting teams will never fill up weslacos visitors side unless its LF and SB and even then with SB......wrap around bleachers would be cool but look at PSJA Stadium and how they manage with it

Yea...they do it every single week. They sell the hell out of those things too. They also have these MONSTER nachos that I see people walking around with. It looks like a heart attack waiting to happen.

Yea...there is a part of me that still thinks they did that on purpose. lol. Great facilities and not in USE. WTH, you may have a point. It was on purpose to piss you guys off. It worked as I saw a Cardinal mom tell her football playing son how she had to go all the way to the home side and was harassed by the Coyote faithful causing him to fume up and he then told he rest of the Cardinal Players and well you know. The rest is history. Harlingen dominates the whole game. Quien se los manda por andar de gachos and "rude hosts" my golly!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think it was that and their entrance. The cardinal players were fired up after hearing all week about their entrance....

Yeah, I remember your linebackers wanting to rumble with them when they were coming in. Right from the start, I knew you guys were gonna kill em. Cards were as fired up as I've ever seen a team be.

Yea. I always start laughing when I think about a team like judson or a coastal bend team going in there and hearing that. I wonder what they are thinking?? I love the fact that la joya does that. ;D
