I heard from someone else today that it is true. I haven't seen him but if it is true, he would be a great addition to a really good defense. Today he was with the O-Line...

Pablo Garza will handle the running duties, small at around 5'7'' to 5'8''and runs a good 4.5 to 4.6. Overall, I think he will be an all around RB. He has the speed to get to the outside, as well as the ability to lay some wood on defenders. (played LB last year)

Wow this is going to be a monumental game. What is the capacity for Harlingen Cardinal Stadium. It should get super packed. This game will boil down to the offensive and defensive lines. Hopefully the defensive back problem at EE will have been solved by then. Go Jackets! We will definitely have to manage time of possession or those running Cards will run wild.

dont worry about the capacity we got enough seats...chances are there will be tickets sold at the gate for the endzone bleachers, usual thats general admission.

This is gonna be a memorable season! Two traditional powers. Both having something to prove. Both playoff caliber. Both teams hopefully will be psyched up for the game. So its gonna come down to the fans. Are the Harlingen fans pretty rad or can they be taken out of the game with some big plays early on?

I just hope this game lives up to the hype it is going to be getting. It is well deserved because both teams have great traditions and both should be very, very tough this year. Both teams know how to win and love to play in big games. Should be lots of hard hitting and big plays. I for one cannot wait for this game.

It is gonna be wild. Aside from the Card posters how are the other Card fans reacting to this game. I have talked to some people from the local area that were under the influence that we still had the same schedule from years past. They were shocked when I told them that Harlingen, Callalen and GP had agreed to play EE.

The Cardinal fans I have talked to are excited to play tough preseason games. Coach Gomez has really stepped up the competition to get the kids ready to play at another level. Over here we always hear about EE and the streak and this and that. It is going to be exciting to see what all the hype is about. I have never seen EE play as I am sure alot of harlingen fans haven't. I know South played them when South was in 4a but the Cards fans I know haven't. I always hear about EE's weak schedule but all that is from your friends in Mercedes and Weslaco. lol. With the schedule you guys have now...we shouldn't be hearing any more of that. It should be a great game with playoff type atmosphere.

This is one game that will definitely require tailgating barbeques!~ Does Harlingen allow that in the parking lot?

I don't see why not. This game would definitely call for some tailgating.

If they manage to beat EE, I will bow down to their superiority, b/c I believe this is the BEST and most COMPLETE team in the last five years district championships. I would like to say EE is going to pound Harlingen, but I just don't know anything about them.

However, I will say that EE is going to tear through the district. Despite how disillusioned the Wildcats and Tiger fans are, neither one of those will be close games. This is how confident I am, if EE loses to one of those teams, I'll put that team's pic on the front page of eejackets.com annoucing their district championship.
