Huge confindence booster come playoff time right there. This might get them over that hump.... I have a feeling EE is going to sneak out of Cal w/ a victory. Wish it were in the playoffs and not in the regular season. I wold tend to agree with you...when we played them in the playoffs last year trust me when I say they were not unbeatable, we needed the experience of winning those big ballgames that they have that kept us from winning that game last year, but the one thing that game provided us last year was we no longer see them as invincible like we did before..... that team is beatable and we know we can beat them now.....EE can beat them as well so I definitely give you a great shot

I strongly believe that it should and will help the Jackets come playoff time. There are some question marks at running back and of course their achilles heel from last year which is their secondary but nonetheless, they should go deep into the playoffs this year. And just for the heck of it I will go out and say that they will go in to Calallen in week 0 with all the confidence in the world and come out victorious 34-31. Huge confindence booster come playoff time right there. This might get them over that hump.... That HUMP will come playoff time.....IMO teams are not full stride in pre-season, No matter the WINNER

One big advantage EE has over Calallen is the fact that EE is treating this game as a late playoff game and Calallen is treating it as a week 0 predistrict game. Fact is, the more prepared team will win.

if anything Calallen has more to lose from this game so it would be not smart for them to treat this game as a week 0 predistrict game

Everyone knows that Callallen likes to play the psychology game. They will mention all the hoopla that it is the first and not very important but it is.

i've never known of a team that doesn't care if they win or lose....i doubt they're not considering this game to be anything but a playoff type game.....

Cal will not take this game lightly. They don't want to be the first team to lose to E-E.

realistically, we came to win not to show others that we can play Those that choose just to play have already set low expectations of themselves. Go Jackets!

Any one have pics of the tournament or other articles about the tournament? Looks like Louisiana doesn't promote 7on7 like Texas!

What is it they say in Louisiana?
Laissez les bon temps roullez! (Let the good times roll!)
Out there this time, looks like E-E did... Isn't that the slogan for Kawasaki?

Maybe it is...
I met some kids from Louisiana in 2006, and they kept repeating that (in a fun, friendly way) to our kids from Texas...
I think I also heard it in a movie, maybe in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil -- which takes place in Georgia...

In similar fashion, there is an economic term that is derrived from a french word: Laissez Faire.
