E-E is not to be faulted for having bad weather and having to reschedule the SuperBowl. If any team here in the valley had the opportunity to play in another state, I'm sure they would do the same thing. I say go to LSU tourney and play against other teams that you will probably never see again. Put the Valley on the map at other states.

Does anybody have information or a website to look at for this tourney?

Pending any unforseen events, the SuperBowl has a green light for this Wednesday! And they LSU trip also has a green light!

Edcouch-Elsa has not only stayed busy; they've also had success. Today, the local squad was in Louisiana, taking part in LSU's 7-on-7 Tournament. Teams from Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas were on hand. The Yellow Jackets won five games straight en route to the big school tournament championship. In the final, Edcouch-Elsa defeated Scotlandville, a team from Baton Rouge, by a final of 44-27.

Awesome job by La Maquina! I'm sure they went into this tourney as a team that nobody expected to come out victorious. Kind of like they did in the Houston Texans tourney. This should help them get ready come playoff time.

Wow!!! Outstanding job Jackets!!! I may have to rethink how I see EE for the upcoming season. It appears they will definitely go to the air this coming season. Solis better be a smart guy and use this obvious strength of his team.

Wow!!! Outstanding job Jackets!!! I may have to rethink how I see EE for the upcoming season. It appears they will definitely go to the air this coming season. Solis better be a smart guy and use this obvious strength of his team. EE has had a great offense for some time, what worries me is the defense. You know what they say, "Offense wins games, but defense wins championships." Then again, they also say , "The best defense is good offense!" Oh what the heck, great job EE!
