actally... that second list is just a sumer stint over at Dallas..
in 2003 i saw all the bands on my second list and i had a blast...
mudvayne linkin park and deftones were all in the same show;/// called Summer Sanatarium... when Metallica came through towm... limp Bzkit was also in the show/...
I would have put Mettallica on also but that would definately be a wish list.. i think i have a better chance seeing the Who than Metallica.
what i miss about dallas was the small shows in the clubs,,, I saw Drowning Pool when they were just starting off... and for the old timers... i Saw the DOORS....... of course with out Jim morisson but the lead singer was a good replacement.... it was Chris Cornell....
Oh and Audio slave was also the bomb... i saw them in a club that fit about 7000 ppl (in dallas thats a small club) but they were just starting off and had quite a bit of errors, but thats what happens when you have two diffrent groups coming together and play... I believe it was trial run... and it also ROCKED...
The shows is what i miss about Big D... i dont thnk the Valley eill ever have the same attraction... but i could be wrong, and i wixh i was but i doubt i am...

Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin The Who The Rolling Stones System of a Down Linkin Park Mudvayne Korn Deftones Those are Big I wonder why they werent included??? trhey ar not included b/c they have to make room to bring in the Mexican crowds.. but another reason they are not incuded is b/c the valley does not have a real Rock station... dont get me wrong the Q does the best that it can... but in big cities you have a radio station for classic rock and only classic rock, a heavy metal or alternative/new rock, and a contemporary rock station.... and they each bring in their type of music... which is good cause you have a large assembly of music and each have the opportunity to bring down thier own type of music style... the Q has to play every kind of music which is hard... I hate to listen to the Q and they play an awsome song like system of a down then play def leapord afterwards

I missed the Chicago concert at the dodge when they came down. I got a chance to see Deftones, Incubus, and Taproot at the villa real a couple of years ago. Some friends and I had some beers with chino after the concert, it was awesome.

I was there too ibp, that concert fell on halloween. Awesome indeed. The villa real was the place to be for concerts, can't believe they closed that place down. I went to see so many bands there. I must have seen slipknot there like 3 or 4 times.
