Some may have seen this elsewhere but since it's no longer accessible... by request, I'm posting it again here.

Made all the listings: E-E, PI, Harlingen, Edinburg
Shortest time on the list?
1 out of 9 listings: Harlingen South, McAllen Rowe 2 out of 9 listings: Rio Hondo, Los Fresnos
Suprising team on list?
B. Pace making 6 out of 9 listings AND finishing in the 10yr Top Ten with a 79-26-1 record; ironically, only TWO of those 79 wins came in the playoffs.
Ran out of gas?
After 4 years Weslaco was ahead of 3 teams that eventually made the 10yr Top Ten, but for some reason could not sustain their winnings ways.
Similar to Weslaco, San Benito was doing well midway (over 5 yrs) as they had compiled a 45-10 record, IF they had sustained this pace, they would've made the final Top Ten 10yr List with a 90-20 record and actually place them in 3rd place!, but they eventually dropped off the Top Ten List after 7yrs.
Top Ten 10yr Dynasties: Is currently composed of ONE - 3A, TWO - 4As, & EIGHT 5A schools
Oldest Dynasty: PSJA, 1962-1971, (75-24-7)
Newest Dynasty: EE, 1997-2006, (85-31-0)
Only team to average 10wins over a 10yr span: Port Isabel. (104-14-3)

This is good, but has lost the element of arguing. There is something to say about just trying to prove our teams are the best, are now a tradition, have outpaced older traditions. Can't say that with this statitistics. Unless we just want to project our bravado into the future and say we are the champs. Just saying this in the attitude of fun. Nevertheless statistics do prove where you are.

PACE was a dominate force in the 1970 and 1980s. I believe they were the first valley team to defeat a coastal bend team (GP). And that when was GP was really hot.
