PACMAN was the sh#@ in the early eighties boy's. I remember spending a lot of quarters at Roy's Gas Station in those day's back in Santa Rosa. God, that brings a lot of memories. Asteroids was back in the 70's in San Antonio.

They were such simple games, but could some how entertain you for countless hours on end.
BTW, my favorite: Ms. Pacman Galaga Street Fighter 2

Galaga was another game that I spent a lot of money on Buzz but back in those days you worked during the summer to do that and buy your school clothes. Does anybody remember the store Chess King. If you wanted to look good that's where you went. Geez, talk about reminiscing.

I remember going to The Golden Cue in Elsa and spending all my money on the arcade games, I must have been about in the 6th or 7th grade. It was cool, half of the place was an arcade, they had nachos and sodas and the other half was the cantina part. It didn't even have a barrier to keep the kids on one side and the adults on the other side. lol My dad would ask me where I had been all day and what happened to all my money and I'd say I was at the Cue and he'd proceed to give me a beat down for being at a cantina and spending all my money on video games...the memories.

Back when I was a kid, I remember going to a warehouse full of Arcades when we bought one back in '84 (Harlingen?).
Anybody know where they SELL full-size upright arcade games here in the Valley?

I've got the bug to put together another MAME arcade (of course I'm not carpenter, so I need an empty cabinet.).
I tried looking on EBAY and Craig's List for Arcade Cabinets in the RGV. Can somebody recommend any other sites?
