I was wondering the same thing, it must be someone Coach feels strongly enough, to have mentioned him to DCF and then of all positions, RB no mention of Joe Vega, Jude Green or anyone else.

hmmmmmm... I was just wondering if it's Casi "The Comet" Barrera's son? Initials might be an indicator of that.

Yes it is Casi's son he was the best player on the freshman team this year so i guess stump decided to put at least one sophomore in the mag he should see some playing time in the secondary this year

Wow! he must be pretty good, if he is only going to be a sophmore, I tell you what, he's got the genes being that he is Casi's son. (that would also make him Ralph Valdez 1st cousin) Secondary? How tall is he?

CJ will probably play in the secondary, while Diego Garcia, Joe Vega, Jude Green, Rollie Alaniz, etc. etc. etc. do the RB duties.

Yeap that's what I see Coach Stump tending to do, (being he is an underclassman) but he did list him as RB and not playing DB.

I'm curious to know what kind of depth RH has. I know about the standouts Vega, Gonzo, David, and the other back. (i think it's Martinez) But what kind of talent is behind them.

In PI, if a RB goes down there are several just as good or as talented as the starter. QB on the other hand is a question. If our QB goes down, there aren't too many other options. Haven't heard much about who is behind the RH standouts. Just wanted to see what is there if a standout goes down (heaven forbid) and what the future may hold for RH. To see if they have the staying power to keep pace with PI.
