a co worker of mine said he and his friends caught 7 reds in a canal near the sugar mill near SR and La Villa with a cast net. I kind of find it hard to believe, but he sounded like he was saying the truth. Have yall seen anything like that before? Didn't one of y'all say that there have been reports of red fish in Delta lake? Due to the recent hurricane and the recent floods There have been alligators and sighted in the bay in Port Mansfield as well as along the Rio Grande, But Red Fish in local irrigation canals? Tell me what you think.

Tell me what you think. It very possible. Reds can survive in fresh water very well, but to catch 7 w/ a castnet sounds like a stretch. They must have been very small redfish if in fact they were reds.

did you go out this weekend red? Water was very calm today. No. my wife went out of town so I had to stay home w/ the kidos. On top of that, I'm working hard to repair my home from the hurricane dmg. I spent all day Saturday and yesterday afternoon cutting sheetrock and screwing it to the wall. I'm still not done so I'll be at it again late this afternoon.

I have a rod that I have no use for. It's been used about 4 time only. My sponsorship w/ Okuma Fishing gear pretty much provide all I need. 7Ft Falcon Coastal Medium action fishing rod w/ a Shamano 4000 reel and new 10 lb Berkly mono fishing line. Retail value on the falcon rods are $100 and the reels are $50. Make me an offer.
