What you say is true but you still have to account for him "guzman" graduating rpm, so really donna returns 7 offensively. So that mag was way off .. And are you sure only 1 graduated on D? Either way as i have stated before it will probably be between mchi and donna for the title in that district. why would you have to account for somone who only played half a season?? kid was out... a new starter was named....that starter returns...the position returns...and that RBs backup returns as well who is not that bad either....add in up and coming RB Balli and the RB position is a no brainer....Donna never rebuilds at RB.... ;D

Hey rpm those guys were good... but not he best or better of the valley... Mendez did out preform both and did so with a target on his back... just saying incase LF meets up with donna again... cause we did win and all and everything was in Donnas favor... field, weather, ect... this year you all will make a trip to a little ol 3a stadium in the boonies called Lost Fresnos....

Los Fresnos was favored to win....weather affects both teams...there was no advantages for either team....as far as who the better back was...it really dont matter cause thats not the point i was trying to make...point is Donna doesnt rebuild at RB....the position returns... if your only point in your post was to brag about who the better RB was then the case is yours.....

RPM is right. LF was favored in the game and was more balanced and did everything to win. Donna's inability to really throw the ball consistently enough to throw LF off balance is what hurt them. A little more mix of run/pass would have changed the game, IMO. Donna did run the ball effectively but needed to offset that with some more throws IMO.

I dont think the passing would have mattered.... everytime any one of the teams attempted to throw the ball would come right back and land about ten yards back ... thats the only reason i metion mendez having a target on his back is b/c everyone in the stadium new who wasgetting the ball for LF... (cause we could not throw with theWIND) donna was favored...or at the very least the game was ade balanced... but we must admit that donna had the best game day scenario that could have happened... they beat shak with the rain they probly expected to do the same with mendez..why i mention mendez.... #1.. how everyone seems to forget he's coming back... #2.. he did what mishak could not do (under the same field conditions)... #3... oh yea HE'S COMING BACK....

good points lfrgv...but LF was no doubt the favorite in that game...with the cast they had and experience...they were expected to win and did. Mendez did a heck of a job, but I think it was more Donna's inefficiencies than anything that cost them the game. Despite a valiant effort from Mendez and others, LF had to squeak it out. It was an awesome battle in very tough conditions...but I think a more balanced Donna attack would've won the game. But that's in the past. Mendez is good...now if he can just stay on the team, right?

LFRGV u forget to mention one tiny detail. Mnde was running behind MARIO BENAVIDES and ELOY ATKINSON the donna rb's were not. lets see how mendez does this year without those 2 OL.

It was a tough game. It was battle on the field in pretty crappy conditions. I'll say this, the boys on both sides of the line couldn't have asked for better conditions if they wanted a game to remember.
