I never compared Lopez to Madison, I compared the situations, learn the difference. So you can honestly tell me that your 17 point loss to Madison was close, but your 24 point victory over Lopez wasn't. And no, games in which teams score 80+ points, 7 points is not much. I can't wait for the EE Weslaco game. When is it? umm, what you getting at? I think you know there isn't going to be one.  |

well i'll be neutral here....
Wes beat Lopez and hanna... by what ever score it was.. and did it by pulling away in the last quarter... Madison beat Wes. by what ever score doing it in the last quarter...
if wes. is superior than Hanna and Lopez(which i think they were).. and should have never been that close... whose to say that shoe doesnt fit on the other side and madison kids are or were telling themselves that exact same words you are....
just a thought...

I don't think the weslaco fans would like for a madison fan to come in here and claim that weslaco scored on "easy touchdowns" and that their defense was having a bad game. |

Whats the diffrence now..... instead of donna holding back tickets, the wes ppl are doing it to themselves... i mean.. sheduling EE would have brought a sold out crowd which would have meant more $$$ for WES... right.... now that they did not schedule EE... Wes will see half or less of that $$$ by scheduling someother team... and honestly thats more $$$ lost by not scheduling EE than what was lost by not having the one section at a donna game.... someone please tell me if im wrong here... |

Actually your wrong lfrgv, weslaco always had a 14-20 pt lead on lopez throughout the whole game, it was never close. And i doubt any madison fan would come in here and say that amnova because they were actually there and they know how it went down. They saw weslaco come back from a 28-7 defecit, and nothing came easy. They also knew what weslaco did to them offensively that not even those other SA teams up there were able to do to them all season. After the game madison fans came in here and said they were just glad they won the game and didn't have to see rivas anymore. And how they were impressed with dylan. If you were there you would of known that. But ofcourse you weren't. The only game that wes did have to win it in the 4th qtr was against hanna, it was that day game at 2pm and if you were there you would of have seen the way the game was played out.

If they had a mentality like you, they could of easily said that their defense was on down time in the 3rd quarter...the only quarter where Weslaco really shined. Every other quarter weslaco was dominated, score-wise. |

well i was not there.. your right... i did not see how the game played out... i just want to say something that we can all agree with...
ANY GIVEN FRIDAY ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN ... whether your Hanna or Wes.... im looking foward to these next two years .. the change in date is not to y liking.. i would have perferred to have left it till the end of the year again... either way the crowds will show and the atmossphere will be electrifying.. like always... i wish you guys good luck on the tourney even though i will not take much out of it... i mean Nikki Rowe had had some great showings the past few seasons and never made the playoffs until last year.... doesnt say much... but either way good luck...
