Class of 08 are allowed to play until August 1st as per rules of NCAA... Class of 07 is not allowed and should not have happened... It states that in rules page that all coaches get in the packets... The top 3 RGV high school teams that participated in our tournament (Weslaco Panthers, Los Fresnos Falcons and Edinburg Bobcats) as well as Dallas Lions were all upcoming high school players... and im sure Coach Valdez, Coach Jones, Coach Boxell and new Edinburg coach as well as the other high school coaches are glad their boys played the toughest competition... the Brownsville All Stars that won the tournament were comprised of 08 players... similar to SA Elite 08 who won the tournament weeks ago at Roma... Roma is another top 5 RGV team as well as McHi... these 5 have shown the most promise thus far but it is still early... get experience and build chemistry at our 2 upcoming events - Tournament of Champions and/or Fall Showcase... 956-624-9944 for more info...
