There was a hilarious article title that appeared on the front page of The Brownsville Herald in the mid 1980s..,It dealt with one of their newspaper photographers that was atacked by an angry man and the photographer managed to subdue his attacker. The title of the article read:"Brownsville Photographer Beats Off Assailant."

lol @ "beats off". i used to be in "headline writing" when i was in high school. it's a UIL event. anyway, everytime someone would come up with something like that it was automatically thrown out, and here there's professionals doing it....
