I think we had about 7,000 members.
Many of those were spambots that got in before I activated moderator queue.
As far as active members...I'd say less than 1,000...especially in the offseason.
By the time football season rolls around, google and yahoo search engines should have us in the database. I already submitted the site.

It's not going to be ugly. The dedicated ones are in here already. We can pull in the others. I finally figured out how to go and look at that place. It seriously blows. I don't plan on visiting it much. Still they have the power of the advertising position.

the reason i ask is he just came in one day and took the whole thing down. you said you weren't aware that it was going to happen until it did happen so did you say something to him for him to shut it down? or was it just him looking for some attention?

I'm not sure what you're saying. I wasn't aware that any changes were being planned until he announced them. As for the forums ultimately getting closed, I closed them since I still had admin rights and everyone was waiting for it to happen. It's like he was holding out a dog treat waiting for us to beg, so I closed the site myself.
Like pulling off a bandaid.
