All I did was use the "rename" feature to change the name of the file using lower case letters.

okay, try this... rename the files like this
index.html ----> 1.html mainpage.html ---->2.html
then rename one more time.
1.html ----->mainpage.html 2.html ----->index.html
basically you are switching names. It's a little confusing, but you have to do it this way.

lets work on the main page real quick... lets add the cool banner. Have you uploaded it to your photobucket account yet? If not, do so. I'll see if I can generate some code for you real quick.

<DIV style="LEFT: 10px; POSITION: absolute; TOP: 10px;"> <img src="LINK GOES HERE" border=0 alt="lobos side banner"> </DIV>
This code is telling the computer to set the picture an an absolute (will not change for nothing-- <DIV> tag) location. It is set at 10 pixels from the left and 10 pixels from the top. Those numbers can change. The bigger the number, the further away.

sweet, got yourself a new homepage. WOW! How did that happen??? because the name is index.html??? yes, index.html is a universally recognized name for home pages. If I were to type www.eejackets.com/baseball -- the computer will look for a index.html file in the subdirectory to open. Otherwise something different happens. If you don't have an index.html file, look what happens... (click the link) www.eejackets.com/lobo/
