Which player or which team do you think had the best performances of the season. Which game was the most impressive victory for any team in your mind. Which single game performance by a player impressed you the most this season.
One team that impressed me this season were the santa rosa warriors. Advancing to the third round of the playoffs. Going 9-1 in the regular season and not to mention blowing out SA Randolph in the second round of the playoffs. La Joya Was Another team, advancing to the third round and giving state finalist judson a run for their money.
WHO or What team performance impressed you the most this season?

Mishak breaking the single game record v. a "tought" SB D was pretty impressive.

LJ v. Judson LF v. Harlingen LF v. Weslaco South v. Mem. These were some of the top games IMO.

It was a pleasure seeing PI's RB Nolan Nunez.
Once that guy found a crease he was gone! He also helped by scoring on special teams. Too bad he got hurt early in the final playoff game against Cuero, it would've been a better showing with PIs MVP playing full tilt!
On the defensive side, PIs LB O. Perales to me seemed like the second coming of F. Herrera of semi-recent PI Semi-finalist team. Awesome leader and hitter!

La Joya vs Judson, by far. LJ came out of no where

SR defeating previously unbeaten Universal-City Randolph and being the underdog at the same time.

SR defeating previously unbeaten Universal-City Randolph and being the underdog at the same time. SR should also be on "the List" they literally came out of no where and pulled off a DC and undefeated season till their last game. Did the SR really act like children (Unsportsmanlike conduct) in their last game?

Santa Rosa beyond all others. New head coach and Superintendent after a tumultuous year when much of the team and many district employees quit. For that team to do what they did, is as stunning as anyones play.

I would think for a single performance that Harlingen South-PSJA Memorial game was the best thing a fan could have witnessed

I was impressed with how well E-E kept their composure against Alice and managed to pull out a win in the playoffs and how Mercedes held their own against Calallen and gave them fits for the majority of the game. I didnt attend either game but I listened to them both and they both sounded like great games.

a lot of those were great choices. Progreso over Mission was the other popular one.
How about Los Fresnos? Beat Harlingen on that two-point conversion, then beat Donna on a cold rainy night in a close game. Then give Reagan all they could handle early. (no, not a Falcon, by the way. I just admire what they did.)
