Don't worry about GH. RB2 was just announced yesterday. It will be much better. 1.) Your instruments from RB1 (and the ones from GH) will work with RB2 2.) All the DLC (past, present, and future) will work with either RB version 3.) RB is allowing different companies to make different models of instruments. RB will still have it's own instrument (but new and improved). RB2 peripherals that are known at the time: And your drums: More info to be released at E3 in two weeks. I would say hold off on making plans till you get all the info on both games and both comanies. I could right an expose on that.

Peripherals InfoYes, it is Mad Catz, but these are licensed, and from what I have read, were made here in the US, not in China. All the press I have read on them . . . basically they are getting awesome reviews. As for RB2 info: LinkAlso: Coming July 15.

It's the same drum system with more ways to hit notes (to make it easier and/or more realistic). The yellow is always the hi hat (except for drum fills, it becomes a hi tom) and the green is always the crash cymbal. The cymbal on the left will be the hi hat, and the one on the right will be the crash. The second pedal can also be used for hi hat, or it can used as a double bass pedal.

I know I'll get blasted for this but I'd rather spend my time playing my REAL guitar and being able to play songs for my daughter(18 months). when I break out the guitar, in her eyes I become a REAL Guitar Hero. I even bust out the accordion and play a couple of songs like Sube y Baja and El Circo just to freak her out. You guys should try playing a real instrument, it's a lot of fun too.

I play guitar, but I still really enjoy playing Rock Band because I can't afford to go out and buy a drumset
