i was gonna say that he played the joker just like how i imagined the joker should be played, and it's possible that his death had something to do with the role. a lot of his friends say it wasn't unusual for him to fully immerse himself in a role, but he didn't go gay for brokeback mountain so i think that's total crap...

Just saw it and might I add after my popcorn, hot dog and drinks it was well worth the $35.00 investment. My question is DC is making another movie with the Watchmen...I am more of a Marvel guy but what is or who are the Watchmen?

I just saw it today too. I definetely enjoyed it, except that it was a little bit too long. The suspense was good also.

awesome movie...any1 else think ledgers death had to do anything with his role in the movie you know being all dark..like maybe not being able to know where to seperate the acting from his real life.?? what do you guys think? i mean he played the joker part to perfection in my opinion.. Accidental overdose; that is all.

Just heard that this movie has made 310 million in 2 weeks, and it will probably surpass the highest grossing movie, Titanic. Incredible. I have not seen it yet, just saw Incredible Hulk yesterday cause we still have no power, lol.

Just saw it and might I add after my popcorn, hot dog and drinks it was well worth the $35.00 investment. My question is DC is making another movie with the Watchmen...I am more of a Marvel guy but what is or who are the Watchmen? If you're not familiar with The Watchmen I'd recommend picking up a copy on amazon...or anywhere for that matter. One of the best graphic novels ever. From wikipedia: Watchmen is set in 1985, in an alternate history United States where costumed adventurers are real and the country is edging closer to a nuclear war with the Soviet Union (the Doomsday Clock is at eleven minutes to midnight). It tells the story of a group of past and present superheroes and the events surrounding the mysterious murder of one of their own. Watchmen depicts superheroes as real people who must confront ethical and personal issues, who struggle with neuroses and failings, and who—with one notable exception—lack anything recognizable as super powers. Watchmen's deconstruction of the conventional superhero archetype, combined with its innovative adaptation of cinematic techniques and heavy use of symbolism, multi-layered dialogue, and metafiction, has influenced both comics and film.
