Waco Midway Coach Bachtel was so impressed with Mercedes' play and demeanor that he extended an invitation to his annual 32 team "by invitation only" tournament. He was totally unaware of and very impressed with the talent level of all three valley teams that made the trip to Waco. Mercedes gladly accepted the invite and will make it part of next summer's schedule.

pool A Mercedes,EE,Lyford,Edinburg
pool B Harlingen,Mercedes White,Nikki Rowe,Mission
pool C San Benito,EE Gold,Rio Hondo, Economedes,
pool D Mission Vets,Porter,Weslaco,Edinburg North
game times for pool play are at 9,10 and 11am saturday
game times for bracket play start at 2pm and all teams are guaranteed 6 games
top 2 teams in each pool will go the championship bracket
bottom 2 teams will go to the consolation bracket
