Yeah, I am a huge Olympic fan Myself and it pissed me off to hear the predictions saying that China will have more medals that the good ole USA!! I'm like WTH!!! It cannot be. The Chinese catching up to us. There's gotta be more to be done for our nation to dominate at least 2/3 of the Olympic Sports. I know some people from Mission that have been in the Olympics and have tried out for the Olympics. I think there's a guy from Sharyland that'll take part in this summer Olympiads. |

China will have more than us? They said that? Well, I guess they have come close to us and maybe been ahead of us sometimes... I'm pretty sure they're counting on the fact that they'll be at home. I know in 1984 and 1996 (at home) we won most medals, and we won some in sports where USA rarely if ever has before... So we have Valley peeps taking part? Wow. I know Aaron Ramirez tried out a while back after winning NCAA cross country... I thought I'd read about someone else from the valley but can't think of who... |
