not much of a dollar menu but the new restaurant in weslaco "jacks" has some pretty reasonably priced food. also, salazar's. most of the plates are 5-7 dollars but in all honesty 2 people could eat from the plates.

what is it like a burger joint or what.... hmm, not sure didn't even get to look at a menu... I ordered the special, roast beef melt came with a combo of onion rings. I asked the waitress to get me a menu for me to see for future reference, I never got it. Plus I ordered rasberry tea and got regular tea. Took a while to get food, so we had about 15min to swollow my lunch, good thing I work close by. Needless to say, it was not a good first experience. |

weslaco has some good burger places. the one's that i mentioned also have some good chicken and mexican plates if that's what you're into.
